Sip of Sunshine.

Located up and out of town to the north, Sip of Sunshine is a relatively new addition to the RMT offerings. Ironically, it’s probably the most old school in the way it rides. 100% handbuild trail with a punchy little climb as you near the top, it offers a beautiful cruise back down through older forests with evidence of recent logging here and there. Sip of Sunshine is a great example of how mountain biking in Vermont started and offers a quiet, almost private riding experience when other zones are bustling.

Parking

There is no parking at the trailhead. To access the Sip of Sunshine trail area, park in town and ride up the hill. Jump onto Old Jericho Road (currently closed due to flood damage) to get off the main road more quickly.
